David Sedaris Lecture Postponed

New Date Will Be Announced Later

The Lackawanna County Library System’s American Masters Lecture featuring David Sedaris, originally scheduled for Monday, April 6, has been canceled due to concerns about the coronavirus, according to an announcement by Mary Garm, director of the Library System.

The lecture in Scranton by Mr. Sedaris was part of a  40-city lecture tour the author and humorist had planned. The entire tour has been placed on hold, Mrs. Garm said.

It will be rescheduled a  new date for the lecture will be announced later, she added

The 20th Annual Evening of Fine Food and Wine scheduled for April 19, 2020 has been postponed. The Scranton Cultural Center is working with our partners to reschedule. Once a new date is

• Fiddler on the Roof:  Originally scheduled for April 24 – 26, 2020

Season Ticket Holders will receive a credit for Fiddler On The Roof that will be applied toward their 2020 – 2021 season ticket renewal.

For those who purchased single tickets from Ticketmaster and the Scranton Cultural Center Box Office, you will receive an automatic refund. If you purchased at the Broadway Theatre League office, we will be contacting you within the week to provide your refund.

We understand this is a very difficult time and many of you have questions.
